from various sources hearing about my very healthy obsession I am lucky enough to have been given quite a substantial collection of vintage lace including original Nottingham Lace from the 50's, and after speaking with the amazingly wonderful Kula Tsurdiu this week I am gathering ideas for a fantastic project of an installation & exhibition of Nottingham Lace within her studio space that i hope to be working on very soon... excited is not the word!! Have a sneak peek at her gorgeous designs & boutique within the historic lace market here... www.kulatsurdiu.co.uk

two castles in a week!
after a trip up to Newcastle with my part time job earlier in the week I spent a fab (if a little chilly!) day with the MollyQueen Collective at Elvaston Castle Craft & Food Fair. I met lots of lovely people....new customers and one who'd even been admiring my work for a while! Always nice to hear!

love a bit of bridal...
I've finally started playing around with ideas for bridal accessories and this is my first fascinator!! I have reworked reclaimed wedding dress fabric, vintage Nottingham lace & mother of pearl buttons into a gorgeous head adornment, trouble is I love it so much I want to keep it!....
watch this space for very exciting news regarding bridal accessories & keepsakes workshops with a very lovely lady who I met only this afternoon!...feels like I've known her a long time after admiring her work for such a long while now.
