in church on a Saturday!

this time last week the doors were opening to the Bristol Vintage Fair (my very first one) at St Paul's Church which is now Circomdeia....so many lovely people and such gorgeous positive comments from everyone - gave me a warm glow inside! ...cupcakes weren't bad too Mmmmmm yum!

springtime in the studio...

now spring has sprung and I can no longer see my breath in the studio! I'm feeling totally inspired... working on new products and introducing more colours to my usual muted palette. Here are a few photographs of the organised chaos which is my workspace!

fascinating!

yay! I finished my new collection of vintage inspired fascinators today...just in time for Bristol Vintage Fair where they will be making their debut! ..each of them is different and a complete one-off and they incorporate vintage Nottingham lace so are very very special!

so after the excitement of the Spring Show in Gannets, Newark last weekend, I'm busy prepping again for the Vintage Fair in Bristol this Saturday!! Cannot wait as it's my very first (hopefully of many) time joining The Vintage Fair on it's travels round the country.. the venue sounds amazing! www.circomedia.com what was St Paul's Church is now the centre for contemporary circus and physical performance.. roll on Saturday!

into interiors?

a fan of my pom pom necklaces asked me if I could make gigantic pom poms to use as curtain tie-backs....and of course I said yes!! That is the beauty of them....they can be any size & used to adorn almost anything!! Planning on all manner of interior pieces when I get a minute!!....watch this space

pretty as a picture...

so those of you that know me know that I love nothing more than upcycling beautiful vintage buttons and fabrics into rings, one-off pieces of jewellery & other accessories. But some buttons I come across are just so pretty they belong in a frame...

another productive day in the studio!

I spent a lovely 12 hours in my design studio on Saturday and it just flew by... Here's a sneak peek at what I've been doing... so loving the mother of pearl buttons & lace at the moment!

new spring stock of vintage button rings going to The Bristol Vintage Fair on 21st April... It's my first vintage fair so I'm excited & nervous all at the same time, I'm making a weekend of it and have roped my friends Andy & Lee to help me out so it'll be a giggle for sure!
